Georgia High School Basketball - Macon County topped by Carver

December 30, 2016: Atlanta, GA 30315

The Carver Panthers basketball team scored 90 points and restricted the visiting Macon County Bulldogs to 78 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grady for a AAAAA Region 6 contest on Friday, January 6. Carver will battle a Knights team coming off a 64-37 non-league loss to Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Knights record now stands at 1-12.

The Bulldogs (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Eagles come into the A Region 4 contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Marion County prevailed over Shaw (Columbus, GA), 56-50, in a non-league contest.
