Riverview Sharks (Riverview, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Spoto Spartans (Riverview, FL), 68-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverview upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Sharks host Bloomingdale (Valrico, FL) to play the Bulls in a bout on Saturday, January 12. The Bulls go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Bloomingdale won 41-40 in their recent league bout against Brandon (Brandon, FL)

Next up, the Spartans play the Plant City Raiders (Plant City, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 15. Spoto will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
