South Dakota High School Basketball - Viborg/Hurley holds off White River
March 14, 2019: Viborg, SD 57070 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) and the visiting White River Tigers (White River, SD), saw Viborg/Hurley's basketball squad hold off White River by a tally of 68-61.
With the victory, Viborg/Hurley improves its record to 22-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 22-2. DeSmet won 60-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Jones County (Murdo, SD)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 15. White River will attempt to improve on its 21-3 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 19-3 record after their 60-55 non-league loss to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD).
