North Carolina High School Basketball - Carolina International School tipped by Mountain Island Charter

January 12, 2018: Mt. Holly, NC 28120

In Friday's league match, the host Mountain Island Charter Raptor basketball team scored a tight 84-83 triumph over the Carolina International School Comets.

In their next game, the Raptor meet the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) in a PAC-7 1A match, on Tuesday, January 16. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 12-2 record after their 56-40 league loss to Pine Lake Preparatory (Mooresville, NC).

With the defeat, Carolina International School moves to 7-9 on the year. The Comets host South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to meet the Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a non-league match on Thursday, January 18. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls enter the match with a record of 6-7. South Stanly won 72-67 in their recent league match against West Montgomery (Mt. Gilead, NC)
