Texas High School Basketball - Canyon holds off Midland Lee
December 14, 2018: Canyon, TX 79015 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) and the visiting Midland Lee Rebels (Midland, TX), saw Canyon's basketball squad hold off Midland Lee by a tally of 41-35.
With the victory, Canyon improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Borger (Borger, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 18. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Borger won 41-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX)
Next up, the Rebels confront the Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 18. Midland Lee will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 65-58 non-league win over Estacado (Lubbock, TX).
