Texas High School Basketball - Edna topped by Industrial
January 29, 2019: Vanderbilt, TX 77991 The Industrial Cobras basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Edna Cowboys to 27 in the Cobras league victory on Tuesday.
The Cobras now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbus for a 3A Region IV District 28 contest on Friday, February 1. Industrial will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 63-59 league win over Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-6.
The Cowboys (16-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX). The Brahmas come into the 3A Region IV District 28 contest with a 8-13 record.
