Missouri High School Basketball - Hannibal fells Monroe City
January 8, 2019: Monroe City, MO 63456 Hannibal Pirates (Hannibal, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Monroe City Panthers (Monroe City, MO), 59-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hannibal upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Pirates host Father Tolton (Columbia, MO) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 15. The go into the bout with a record of 8-2.
Next up, the Panthers play the Clark County Indians (Kahoka, MO) in a Clarence Cannon bout, on Friday, January 11. Monroe City will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 46-40 non-league loss to Canton (Canton, MO).
