Nebraska High School Basketball - Tri County crushes Lewiston
January 26, 2019: DeWitt, NE 68341 Tri County Trojans (DeWitt, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lewiston Tigers (Lewiston, NE), 54-30 in a league bout.
With the win, Tri County upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Trojans travel to Friend (Friend, NE) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Friend lost 50-25 in their recent non-league bout against Heartland (Henderson, NE)
Next up, the Tigers play the Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE) in a D2 District 1 bout, on Saturday, January 26. Lewiston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Jets go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 42-37 non-league win over Southern (Wymore, NE).
