In Saturday's non-league outing, the Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) basketball squad felled the host McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX), by a margin of 53-45.

The Lobos (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hanna (Brownsville, TX). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record.

The Mustangs now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Corpus Christi Moody for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 5.
