Texas High School Basketball - Meyer nudges Aquilla

December 7, 2018: Aquilla, TX 76622

Meyer Ravens (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Aquilla Cougars (Aquilla, TX), 40-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Meyer upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Ravens travel to Axtell (Axtell, TX) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 8. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Axtell won 25-24 in their recent non-league bout against Bynum (Bynum, TX)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Iredell Dragons (Iredell, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 25 bout, on Tuesday, December 18. Aquilla will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
