October 26, 2019: Woodstock, CT 06281 The Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) football edged the visiting Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT), 14-7 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Centaurs face the Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 2. Woodstock Academy will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Chiefs enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 26-24 non-league loss to Amistad (New Haven, CT).
The Bears (0-9) will now prepare for their bout against Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Redmen enter the non-league bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Killingly nudged Brookfield (Brookfield, CT), 49-7, in a non-league bout.
