Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lincoln Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA), 9-2 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avonworth for a WPIAL AAA 2 challenge on Monday, April 29.

With the loss, Lincoln falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Wolverine host North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA) to battle the Trojans in a WPIAL AAA 2 challenge on Monday, April 29. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 6-6.
