Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Post Antelopes (Post, TX) and the visiting Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX), saw Post's basketball squad hold off Hale Center by a tally of 52-46.

With the victory, Post improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Antelopes host Lockney (Lockney, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 22. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Lockney lost 81-70 in their recent league challenge against New Deal (New Deal, TX)

Next up, the Owls confront the Ralls Jack Rabbits (Ralls, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 22. Hale Center will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Jack Rabbits come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 91-41 league loss to Floydada (Floydada, TX).
