Arizona High School Basketball - Tolleson fells Sierra Linda

December 27, 2019: Phoenix, AZ 85043

Tolleson Wolverines (Tolleson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ), 61-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tolleson upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ) to play the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Desert Edge won 69-62 in their recent non-league bout against Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Carl Hayden Community Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro bout, on Tuesday, January 7. Sierra Linda will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 49-38 non-league win over Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ).
