Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS) and the visiting Triplains/Brewster Titans (Brewster, KS), saw Northern Valley's basketball squad wallop Triplains/Brewster by a count of 64-37.

With the victory, Northern Valley upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Western Plains/Healy (Ransom, KS) to play the in a Western Kansas Liberty challenge on Tuesday, February 18. The come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. Western Plains/Healy won 42-13 in their recent league challenge against Palco (Palco, KS)

Next up, the Titans play the Deerfield Spartans (Deerfield, KS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 18. Triplains/Brewster will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 14-4 record after their 57-28 non-league loss to Greeley County (Tribune, KS).
