In Thursday's non-league outing, the Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ) basketball squad nipped the host Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ), by a margin of 71-64.

The Paladins now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bergen Catholic for a Big North - United contest on Sunday, March 1. Paramus Catholic will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 67-61 non-league loss to St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 18-5.

The Maroons (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 7-18 record. In their last contest, Passaic County Tech was nudged by Dumont (Dumont, NJ), 61-51, in a non-league test.
