Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Huntingdon holds off Mount Union
May 4, 2018: Mt. Union, PA 17066 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA) and the host Mount Union Trojans (Mt. Union, PA), saw Huntingdon's baseball squad knock off Mount Union by a count of 11-7.
Coming up next, the Bearcats play the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) in a Mountain battle, on Tuesday, May 8. Huntingdon will attempt to move on its 15-1 season record. The Mountaineers enter the battle with a 7-7 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to St. Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA).
The Trojans now possess a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host Claysburg-Kimmel for a Inter-County - North battle on Monday, May 7. Mount Union will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-1 league win over Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.
