In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades basketball team scored a decisive 67-37 triumph over the Boyd County Spartans.

In their next game, the Renegades meet the St. Mary's Cardinals (O'Neill, NE) in a D2 District 5 match, on Saturday, January 12. Chambers/Wheeler Central will attempt to better on its 11-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 1-10 record after their 53-19 league loss to Ewing (Ewing, NE).
