December 1, 2018: Fort Worth, TX 76164 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Westlake Academy Blacksmiths (Westlake, TX) and the host North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX), saw Westlake Academy's basketball squad wallop North Side by a tally of 70-35.
With the victory, Westlake Academy improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Blacksmiths travel to Oakridge (Arlington, TX) to confront the Owls in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 1. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Oakridge lost 56-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes (Carrollton, TX)
Next up, the Steers confront the Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 3. North Side will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 72-32 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, TX).
