The St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) basketball nipped the host Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY), 81-75 in Monday's non-league test.

The Lancers (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Nichols (Buffalo, NY). The Vikings go into the Monsignor Martin test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Nichols was tipped by Cardinal O'Hara (Tonawanda, NY), 76-19, in a league test.
