Arizona High School Basketball - Southwest Leadership Academy holds off Heritage Academy
January 18, 2019: Mesa, AZ 85210 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southwest Leadership Academy (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Heritage Academy Heroes (Mesa, AZ), saw Southwest Leadership Academy's basketball squad hold off Heritage Academy by a tally of 71-64.
With the victory, Southwest Leadership Academy improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The host Canyon State Academy (Queen Creek, AZ) to confront the Rams in a Canyon Division 2 Region 7 challenge on Thursday, January 24. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Canyon State Academy lost 65-59 in their recent league challenge against AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, AZ)
Next up, the Heroes confront the San Tan Charter Roadrunners (Gilbert, AZ) in a Canyon Division 2 Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 22. Heritage Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 70-51 league loss to Tri-City Christian Academy (Chandler, AZ).
