Maryland High School Football - Churchill felled by Northwest
October 5, 2018: Potomac, MD 20854 In Friday's league game, the Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) football team were victorious over the host Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD), by a score of 40-28.
The Jaguars (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD). The Rockets come into the Montgomery County 4A - South game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Richard Montgomery knocked off Whitman (Bethesda, MD), 42-7, in a league game.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blake for a non-league game on Friday, October 12. Churchill will meet a Bengals team coming off a 44-10 non-league win over Northwood (Silver Spring, MD). The Bengals record now stands at 6-1.
