California High School Softball - Torrey Pines bounces Sage Creek
March 27, 2018: Carlsbad, CA 92010 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) and the host Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA), witnessed Torrey Pines's softball squad prevail over Sage Creek by a count of 10-0.
The Falcons now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Carlsbad for a Avocado - West North County match on Thursday, March 29. Torrey Pines will meet a Lancers squad coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-2.

Junior, Right-Handed Pitcher Haley White threw a complete game, 7 inning, no hitter with 14 strikeouts as 2 time defending League Champion-Torrey Pines opened Avocado Western League play with a 10-0 victory at Sage Creek yesterday. White was dominate in the circle issuing 3 walks while striking out the side in the 2nd, 5th, and 6th innings for the winners who improved to (6-5) on the season with the win. Freshmen Kaili Aqui led the Falcons going 4-5 with 2 runs scored, a Double, 3 Singles, an RBI and a Stolen Base in the game. Freshmen Katie Walling went 3-5 with 2 runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base while Junior, Makena Macias went 2-4 with a run scored and 3 RBI's. The Falcons were successful in all 7 stolen base attempts in the game while Sage Creek was thrown out stealing 2 times in the contest. Torrey Pines travels to Carlsbad for a key Avo Western League game tomorrow.
