New York High School Basketball - Tupper Lake overwhelmed by Brushton-Moira
January 5, 2019: Tupper Lake, NY 12986 The Brushton-Moira Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Tupper Lake Lumberjacks to 30 in the Panthers league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norwood-Norfolk for a Section 10 East contest on Monday, January 7. Brushton-Moira will battle a Flyers team coming off a 74-62 league win over Parishville-Hopkinton (Parishville, NY). The Flyers record now stands at 4-5.
The Lumberjacks (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Chateaugay (Chateaugay, NY). The Bulldogs come into the Section 10 East contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Chateaugay triumphed over Seton Catholic Central (Plattsburgh, NY), 70-60, in a non-league contest.
