New York High School Lacrosse - Medina drops to Akron

May 13, 2019: Akron, NY 14001

In Monday's league test, the host Akron Tigers lacrosse squad scored a tight 17-10 victory over the Medina Mustangs.

The Tigers now have a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 15. Akron will face a Tigers squad coming off a 18-3 league loss to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 5-10.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Lockport Lions (Lockport, NY) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 15. Medina will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 3-11 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to Sweet Home (Amherst, NY).
