The Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) basketball nipped the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 45-38 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Fighting Colts (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Deming (Deming, NM). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Deming was tipped by Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 61-59, in a non-league test.
