Indiana High School Basketball - Northfield overwhelms Eastern

January 18, 2016: Greentown, IN 46936

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Northfield Norseman (Wabash, IN) and the host Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN), saw Northfield's basketball squad wallop Eastern by a count of 58-32.

With the victory, Northfield upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Norseman travel to Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN) to play the Argylls in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 21. The Argylls come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Madison-Grant won 56-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Daleville (Daleville, IN)

Next up, the Comets play the Rossville Hornets (Rossville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 21. Eastern will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 39-30 league loss to Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN).
