Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) and the visiting Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ), saw Valley Vista's basketball squad wallop Copper Canyon by a tally of 93-23.

With the victory, Valley Vista improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Monsoon host Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ) to confront the Wolverines in a 6A Southwest challenge on Friday, January 26. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 4-18. Tolleson lost 47-19 in their recent league challenge against Westview (Avondale, AZ)

Next up, the Aztecs confront the Millennium Tigers (Goodyear, AZ) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Friday, January 26. Copper Canyon will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 19-5 record after their 78-10 league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ).
