St. Joseph's Catholic Academy Wolves (Boalsburg, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), 59-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Joseph's Catholic Academy upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA) to play the Blue Pirates in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 30. The Blue Pirates come into the bout with a record of 2-14. Williamsburg lost 95-63 in their recent league bout against Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA)

Next up, the Mountaineers play the Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA) in a Mountain bout, on Tuesday, January 29. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record.
