New York High School Basketball - Irondequoit tops Canisius

December 22, 2018: Rochester, NY 14617

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Irondequoit Eagles (Rochester, NY) and the visiting Canisius (Buffalo, NY), saw Irondequoit's basketball squad knock off Canisius by a count of 59-43.

With the victory, Irondequoit upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY) to play the Royal Comets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 4. The Royal Comets come into the challenge with a record of 4-2.

Next up, the play the St. Xavier Bombers (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 27. Canisius will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
