Game Summary
Entering a critical game for Sectional seeding, the Red Devils needed a win to control their own destiny for the upcoming playoffs. The Devils opened strong scoring two quick goals and not allowing North to cross midfield for the first 7 minutes. However, the Devils could not convert a number of early chances. North was able to get into an uptempo, run-and-gun offense that caused the Devils all sorts of trouble. Even so, the game was 6-6, when North scored a go-ahead goal at the buzzer. Two quick goals at the start of the second half allowed North to run off huge chunks of clock, and a pressing Devils offense could not close the gap.
