Texas High School Softball - Sundown bounces New Deal
March 4, 2013: New Deal, TX 79350 Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX), 21-1 in a league challenge.
The Roughnecks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host New Deal for a 1A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, March 29.
With the loss, New Deal falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lockney (Lockney, TX) to face the Longhorns in a Freelance challenge on Saturday, March 9. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
