In Wednesday's league challenge, the Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) baseball squad nipped the visiting Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA), by a margin of 8-7.

With the win, Kiski Area betters its record to 9-10 on the season. The Cavaliers host Jeannette (Jeannette, PA) to encounter the Jayhawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 9.
