The Shelton Highclimbers (Shelton, WA) basketball felled the visiting Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA), 69-52 in Monday's non-league test.

The Highclimbers (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Yelm (Yelm, WA). The Tornados go into the 3A South Sound test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Yelm thwarted North Thurston (Lacey, WA), 58-50, in a league test.
