In Thursday's league outing, the Vidalia Vikings (Vidalia, LA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Mangham Dragons (Mangham, LA), by a margin of 64-57.

The Vikings (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Delhi Charter (Delhi, LA). The Gators go into the 2A District 2 outing with a 15-6 record. In their last outing, Delhi Charter got by General Trass (Lake Providence, LA), 76-54, in a league outing.

The Dragons now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Rayville for a 2A District 2 outing on Saturday, January 12. Mangham will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 106-41 league win over Ferriday (Ferriday, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 19-4.
