New Haven Rockets (New Haven, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Almont Raiders (Almont, MI), 68-59 in a non-league test.

The Rockets (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Richmond (Richmond, MI). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Oxford for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Almont will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 60-55 non-league loss to Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
