In the first round of the conference tournament, #1 seed Northland Christian started sluggishly against the #8 seed Faith Christian Academy, but steadily built their lead in the first half, leading by 21 at halftime. In the third quarter, the Trailblazers played some really good basketball as they opened up a 36 point lead. 8 different players scored for Northland, with three players in double figures. Senior guard Connor Eby lead all scorers with 15 points. Fellow running mate Eric Seevers had 10 points for the Trailblazers, and set a school record with 12 assists for the game. Also in double figures was Freshman Harris Kruse with 12 points. He also had 8 rebounds. Justin Horned lead FCA with 7 points. Next up for Northland is a semi-final contest with Cornerstone. It will be the third meeting between the two teams. Northland swept the season series. With the win, the Trailblazers earned their 18th win of the season.
