Connecticut High School Basketball - Abbott RVT nudges Shepaug Valley
February 11, 2019: Danbury, CT 06811 In Monday's non-league outing, the Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT) basketball squad nipped the visiting Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT), by a margin of 71-69.
The Wolverines (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Condors go into the non-league outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, O'Brien RVT was tipped by Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT), 78-47, in a league outing.
The Spartans now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Gilbert for a Berkshire outing on Friday, February 15. Shepaug Valley will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 74-61 league loss to Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-10.
