December 27, 2018: Huntersville, NC 28078 The North Mecklenburg Vikings basketball team (Huntersville, NC), was toppled 54-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA)
The Comets now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yates for a non-league battle on Friday, December 28. Westchester will confront a Lions team coming off a 93-66 non-league win over Texas Christian (Houston, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-2.
The Vikings (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans come into the I-Meck 4A battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Hopewell beat Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC), 62-58, in a non-league battle.
