In Friday's non-league outing, the Frontier Falcons (Chalmers, IN) basketball squad edged the host Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), by a count of 51-49.

The Falcons (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern (Greentown, IN). The Comets go into the non-league outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Eastern was tipped by Rossville (Rossville, IN), 65-53, in a league outing.

The Trojans now hold a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Frankton for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 26. Tri-Central will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 79-38 league win over Elwood (Elwood, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.
