The Reed-Custer Comets basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Streator Bulldogs to 20 in the Comets league triumph on Thursday.

The Comets now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seneca for a non-league contest on Monday, December 17. Reed-Custer will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 63-17 league win over Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 10-2.

The Bulldogs (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 13-0 record.
