May 1, 2019: Pomfret, CT 06258 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Portsmouth Abbey Ravens (Portsmouth, RI), by a count of 7-6.
Coming up next, the Griffins confront the Tabor Academy Seawolves (Marion, MA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 3. Pomfret School will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record.
The Ravens now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Concord Academy for a Eastern Independent contest on Friday, May 10.
