The Paul VI Panthers basketball team (Fairfax, VA), was nudged 63-59 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA)

The Maroon now possess a 19-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Stephen's & St. Agnes for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 2. Episcopal will battle a Saints team coming off a 76-46 non-league win over Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The Saints record now stands at 26-3.

The Panthers (25-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD). The Gaels come into the non-league battle with a 25-7 record. In their last battle, Mount St. Joseph edged Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD), 78-48, in a non-league battle.
