The Granville Central Panthers the visiting Hillside Hornets baseball team by a tally of 9-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vance County for a Northern Carolina 1A/2A bout on Friday, March 29. Granville Central will clash with a Vipers team coming off a 6-1 league win over Granville Central (Stem, NC). The Vipers record now stands at 2-6.
