The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), observed Weddington's football squad defeat Northwest Guilford by a count of 35-14.

The Warriors now own a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to A.C. Reynolds for a non-league contest on Friday, November 25. Weddington will play a Rockets squad coming off a 21-17 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 12-1.
