September 28, 2012: Pontotoc, MS 38863 The Nettleton Tigers held off the host South Pontotoc Cougars football team by a count of 32-29 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Nettleton upgrades its record to 1-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 2 test on Friday, October 5. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-2. Aberdeen won 52-14 in their recent league test against Mantachie (Mantachie, MS)
