Texas High School Football - Blue Ridge overwhelms Chico

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX) and the host Chico Dragons (Chico, TX), observed Blue Ridge's football squad bounce Chico by a count of 63-19.

The Tigers now own a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Alvord for a 2A-1 Region II District 5 contest on Friday, October 16. Blue Ridge will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 42-12 league win over Trenton (Trenton, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.

Coming up next, the Dragons play the Bells Panthers (Bells, TX) in a 2A-1 Region II District 5 contest, on Friday, October 16. Chico will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 44-14 league loss to Valley View (Valley View, TX).
