The Highmore/Harrold Pirates basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Stanley County Buffalos to 42 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pirates now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sully Buttes for a B Region 2 contest on Friday, January 4. Highmore/Harrold will meet a Chargers team coming off a 49-40 non-league loss to Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 3-2.

The Buffalos (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD). The Mustangs enter the A Region 6 contest with a 2-4 record.
