Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 57-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Virginia Episcopal School upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Bishops travel to Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA) to clash with the Celtics in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Celtics go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Roanoke Catholic won 76-56 in their recent non-league bout against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the St. Catherine's (Richmond, VA) in a VISAA Division 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Covenant will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 57-55 non-league win over Miller (Charlottesville, VA).
