Texas High School Basketball - College Station crushes Mexia
December 11, 2018: Mexia, TX 76667 College Station Cougars (College Station, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX), 68-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, College Station upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Waller (Waller, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 5A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, December 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-6.
Next up, the Black Cats clash with the Coolidge Yellowjackets (Coolidge, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 14. Mexia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 58-31 non-league win over Bremond (Bremond, TX).
